WHO WE ARE...

As founder and owner of the center, I have always loved birds, and can still remember sneaking a budgie into my room when my mom had said *no pets*.I originally started off with a couple of pet parrots, but one day I was approached by someone who had no time for their bird - They recently had a baby. This was the start of better things to come.  Many of the parrots that have come to the shelter are in their forever homes. They are unwanted, neglected or abused birds. Some are special needs birds and can never be re-homed. They are getting the very best care anyone could give them, and most importantly, they are happy with me, and with the rest of the flock. For those that are adoptable, I take the time to match the bird with the most suitable owner, trying to ensure the entire family participates in the welcoming of their new family member into their life.
